The Magic Circle Rep. has created a new (for us) concept for the
entertainment of children on Saturday afternoons,
The Funtime Company!.
The Funtime Company is a group of students ages 9 through 17
from our Youth and Master workshop programs who will perform a musical
comedy written specially for young people every Saturday afternoon at
2:00 p.m. from October 7th through December 2nd. There are Sunday
matinees planed for Sundays November 5 and 12 also at 2:00 p.m.
The show is called "RUNAWAYS" and it tells the story of a group of
kids who run away from home to seek fame and fortune only to be
hungry, scared and hunted by the truant officer. The show is full of
songs and comedy and promises to be fun for the whole family.
