Director's Note
It has long been rumored that Walt Disney had a love for pork,
which would explain his version of the classic story of "The
Three Little Pigs." Upon closer scrutiny, however, our research
staff have unearthed evidence that the truth may be quite
different.
At the very least, we have raised questions that are now being
debated from Washington Street to Lincoln Street. Was the wolf
really bad, or just misunderstood? Did the pigs really make
houses out of straw and sticks, or were they victims of an
unscrupulous real estate agent? The answers to these burning
questions may be answered during the Magic Circle Theatre's
production of The Three Little Pigs.
Adapted from the historical data by author Rosemarie Gerould,
The Three Little Pigs features adult performers in our
Children's Repertory Theatre Company.
