Old world meets the modern world in the lush and beautiful musical, The King and I.

Director Brent Null guides his talented cast through this award-winning classic. The King of Siam (John Chitambar) arranges for a widowed schoolteacher and her son (Jennifer Schmelzer and Alex Rocca) to come to his country and teach Western ways to his many, many (many!) children. Naturally, the King and Anna immediately clash. They slowly learn to respect the other as they confront prejudice between the barbarians and the cultured world, strange customs (on both sides), and the violent differences between classes.

Its a thrilling and enjoyable story filled with memorable music ("Whistle a Happy Tune", "Getting to Know You") good for the entire family.

Musical Director Jennifer Vaughn joins Brent to guide this huge cast (over 30 actors, singers and dancers!) through one of the greatest musicals ever written.
