The ultimate story of an aggressive stage mother, who drives her daughters into show business and keeps their noses to the grindstone until one of them becomes a star. It is the, more or less, true story of Gypsy Rose Lee. The show's score is full of classics including, "Let Me Entertain You," "All I Need Is The Girl," "Together Wherever We Go," and "Everything's Coming Up Roses."
