This fabulous musical farce takes place in ancient Rome and combines the time-tested 2000-year-old comedy of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. The result is a non-stop laugh-fest in which the crafty slave (Pseudolus) struggles to win the hand of the beautiful courtesan (Philia) for his masters son (Hero) and away from his master (Senex) in exchange for his freedom.
