Every year the Magic Circle Theatre honors those actors and actresses who our members feel delivered the best performances during the previous season.

We use the format of the academy awards, with all the votes being kept secret until the awards are presented. The categories are best performance by and actor and actress in a leading and supporting role in a musical and non-musical, for a total of eight awards. The nominees in each category are honored, then the winners presented.

The presentations are interspersed with singing, dancing, and an occasional bit of comedy.

Also like Hollywood, most of the nominees and staff, and even some of our audience dress "black tie." It is a fun evening for all who attend.
