The characters of Dr. Seuss hit the stage on Feb. 20 when Magic Circle Theatre's Teen Master Theatre Series presents Seussical! !

The Cat in the Hat guides us through a world filled with favorite characters, silly songs, and fantastical lands. As the second-largest community theatre in California, Magic Circle Theatre has the largest Children's Theatre program in the state. Our Teen Master Theatre Series productions have won numerous Elly Awards for our young actors and our productions.

This is the perfect time for the musical Seussical because this year Theodor Geisel, a.k.a Dr. Seuss, will be inducted into the 2009 California Hall of Fame. Seussical is also part of a Roseville centennial event including The Art of Dr. Seuss at the Blue Line Gallery http://www.rosevillearts.org and a poetry competition and book readings at Roseville City Libraries http://www.roseville.ca.us/library.

Seussical will play Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm Feb. 20 - March 7, with matinees on Feb. 21, 22, 28, March 1 and 7 at 2:00 pm. Performances will be in the Roseville Theater, 241 Vernon St., Roseville. All tickets $13.00. Please call (916) 782-1777 for tickets.
