Michelle Pabst
Michelle has been affiliated with the theatre since 1989
and is currently our Director of Education. She was recently seen reprising the
role of "Charlotte Hay" in Moon Over Buffalo. She also received an
Elly nomination and won a Birdsall Award for her role of "Charlie" in
Goodbye Charlie, to date her favorite part. Other favorite roles
include: "Dottie Ottley" in Noises Off, "Cookie" in Rumors,
"Miss Hannigan" in Annie, "Reno Sweeney" in Anything Goes,
"Mary Detweilier" in How the Other Half Loves? and eight
characters from The Dining Room. Michelle?s first lead dramatic
role was as "Bella Manningham" in Gaslight at the Chautauqua
Playhouse. She also loved performing in Love Letters. She
has been in a number of our Children's Theatre Fairy Tale productions including:
Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Rabbit, Jack and the Beanstalk, Alice in
Wonderland, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel and Into
the Forest. In addition to being the acting instructor for various Youth
Workshops shows, she tackled and completely enjoyed her directorial debut of
Julius Caesar this last summer, incorporating modern music and an
avante garde theme to the Bard's traditional play. She looks forward to
directing the Shakespeare Workshop again this summer. Michelle is currently
finishing her Bachelor's Degree at Sac State in Creative Writing, where she
hopes to make a career out of the outrageous thoughts in her head. |
