Magic Circle Theatre garnered 11 Elly Award Nominations from SARTA this year. Congratulations to all nominees. See the complete list...
The Dining Room
[Tea Cup] Six actors playing 48 roles. A dining room is a place to eat, right? Well yes but, according to A.R. Gurney, it is also a place to battle, to fall in love, to do homework, to make plans, and to confess.
West Side Story
[Dancers] The Magic Circle Theatre proudly presents the classic but ever relevant masterpiece West Side Story by Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein, Arthur Laurents, and Stephen Sondheim. It is the story of Romeo and Juliet told on the 1950s streets of New York. The musical received rave reviews for it's portrayal of gang life.
Birthday Parties Return, But Pirate Cancelled
[Cake] Next season we will be bringing back our popular birthday party packages during our children's shows. To do this, we're moving the children's shows back to the Roseville Theatre.

Youth and Little Ones Summer Workshop
[Milk Churn] The Saga of Sweet Hannah Sue - or - Is All that's Swedish Sweet?

August 12 & 13; 19 & 20; 26 & 27 at 7:00pm

This saga finds us in the Svilton of Sweden with Hannah's Mother and Father who have been entrusted with a special ice cream recipe. But the nasty Son of Sam and his seven sons attempt to thwart the effort of a truly international cast in winning the ice cream cook-off Grand Prize Cruise. Your actors will enjoy the many roles available between the Italian Lucia family, the French-Canadian Lumberjacks, the shouting Childs family of England, and the food fight that ensues.
Summer Shakespeare Workshop
[Shakespeare] The Shakespeare class was so popular this year, we decided to try something different! Together with the Roseville Department of Parks and Recreation, Magic Circle Theatre presents the Teen Shakespeare Workshop productions of Romeo and Juliet and The Merry Wives of Windsor in repertoire!
