Curtain Call On-Line Volume 11 Number 2
November / December 2002

Yes, It's A Comedy! No, It's Not A Musical!
[Piano] On November 1 we open The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940! We're talking blizzard! We're talking spooky mansion with mysterious passages! And we're talking a German maid serving sour kraut (except when she's falling out of closets, dead)! Really, does theatre get any better than this?
First Night Murder
[champagne] For an additional $7.00 you can enjoy light hors d'ouvres and champagne (or sodas), and listen to the popular Magic Circle Express entertain. This is for opening night, Nov. 1, only! Reservations are required.
[Thursdays!] That's right, Thursdays! Starting with The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Magic Circle Repertory Theatre will be adding Thursday evening performances to our season.
Auditions for Anything Goes
[Life Preserver] Auditions for our next musical production, Anything Goes, are on Monday, November 4th at 7:30pm, at the Roseville Theatre, 241 Vernon St. Roseville. Call-backs will be at 8:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5th and 6th.
Goldielocks Sneaks in November 9th
[Bowl of Porridge] Returning to our stage is the Childrens' Repertory Company with their production of Goldielocks. There's porridge, a forest to get lost in, and a surprise ending! There's also laughs and music good for everyone ages 3 to 103!
Scrooge returns this December!
[Scrooge] Yes, it's back! This holiday favorite has entertained families in the Sacramento area for 20 years. This is the second year Roger Hoopman has brought his popular play to the Magic Circle Repertory Theatre. If you missed it last year, don't miss it this year!
Winter Master Workshop Auditions for Footloose
