School Children Raise Money To Buy Seats
[Vencil Brown School Present Check for $600] The students at Vencil Brown elementary school sold cookies and candy to raise $600 to adopt four seats at the Magic Circle Repertory Theatre. This was their way of thanking the theatre company for the many field trips the school children have enjoyed at the Magic Circle Rep. Six of the students and one of their teachers made the presentation to Rosemarie Gerould, the theatre's Artistic Director, during the school's most recent field trip to the theatre for the production of "Sleeping Beauty".

[Vencil Brown School Children] The Adopt-A-Seat program was started to help the theatre raise the money needed to restore the theatre's worn out seating. The Magic Circle Rep.'s goal is to have the money raised so that the seats can be removed for renovation in May of 2001. This donation by school children is one of the largest single donations the theatre has received and will greatly aid the campaign. The Magic Circle Rep. thanks the students at Vencil Brown Elementary School for their generousity.
