Rick's association with Civic Theatre West began when he served as the host of our former Cabaret Dinner Theatre. His role grew significantly, and his leadership was instrumental to the renovation of both the Roseville and Tower Theaters, Civic West’s two performance spaces. His extensive construction and technical expertise led him to becoming the theatre’s technical director before ultimately becoming managing director. In this capacity Rick oversees all operational, box office and guest services functions.

Michelle has been an important part of Civic Theatre West since 1989 when she first performed with us. With numerous main stage and children’s theatre performances to her credit she became the theatre’s director of education and outreach in 1994. In that role she built the theatre’s field trip series, working with over 400 teachers and 20,000 schoolchildren annually, and providing countless students the opportunity to experience live theatre, many for the first time. During that same period, she directed main stage, fairytale theatre, youth and master workshop productions, and amassed a dizzying list of performance credits, making her a favorite of our patrons and leading to numerous awards and recognitions. In 2010 Michelle became Civic West’s program director, with broad accountability for all of our performance and educational programs.
