Susan Teeple

Anything Goes marks Susan's debut with the Magic Circle Repertory Theatre. She recently moved to the Sacramento area from the Bay Area, where she was active in theatre, film and commercial acting. Susan received her theatrical training at Brigham Young University and has performed in more than 50 musicals, comedies and dramas during her 40 years on the stage. She is a true theatre gypsy, appearing in leading roles and as a member of the ensemble in theatres throughout California. Susan is particularly enjoying performing in this production of Anything Goes as her daughter Lisa is playing the part of "Virtue", allowing the two of them to spend some special mother-daughter time together!

Susan's most memorable past musical roles have included Eliza in My Fair Lady, The Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha, and Sarraghina in Nine. Some of her comedy roles were as Maggie in The Man Who Came To Dinner, Myrtle Mae in Harvey and Theresa in How The Other Half Loves. Dramatic Roles have included Eve in All About Eve, Vera in Ten Little Indians and Karen in The Children's Hour.

During her "spare time", Susan works as an Accountant, plays the piano, and practices Tai Chi. She lives in Folsom with her husband Doug and her German Shepherd Ginger. Her two married children have acquired her artistic genes as well. Her son Kirt is a member of the metal band "Arsinic" and her daughter Lisa is a singer and pianist as well as an accomplished dancer. Susan's next goal - to acquire some grandchildren!
