![]() Simon HuntSimon brings an impressive background to the Magic Circle Rep. from his native England where he starred as "Ko-Ko" in The Mikado and as "Cupid" in Orpheus In The Underworld during his University days. Subsequent shows with a local amateur dramatics company included Half A Sixpence playing "Pearce", Fiddler On The Roof playing "Perchik", Carousel and Kismet.His first appearance with the Magic Circle Rep. was as a replacement for Executive Producer Bob Gerould (who injured his leg) as the "ogre" in Puss In Boots. Since then he has remained as a regular performer with our Children's Repertory Theatre Company, usually as our magician. Simon made his main stage debut in Guys and Dolls and followed that with Rumors, The Great One's Holiday Show, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, The Mousetrap, Noises Off, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Marriage is Murder, and most recently Funny Money. Simon's favourite roles have been "Ko-ko" in The Mikado, "Lloyd" in Noises Off and himself in The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged). |
