Rosemarie, the Magic Circle Rep.'s Artistic Director, began her theatrical career at CSUS in 1970 and continued her education in directing at Kearney State in Nebraska. She has served as Artistic Director of the Bacchus Theatre in Old Sacramento and as Assistant Director for several productions at Garbeau's Dinner Theatre. Rosemarie was also the Assistant Director of Nuts at the Chautauqua Playhouse and Technical Director of Children Of A Lesser God for the Process Theatre.

Since it's inception in 1987, Rosemarie has directed nearly all of the main stage, children's theatre and children's workshop productions of the Magic Circle Repertory Theatre. In addition to her directing work, Rosemarie has considerable acting experience with performances in A Thousand Clowns, The Odd Couple, California Suite, Charley's Aunt, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, The Housekeeper, Squabbles, A Bad Year For Tomatoes, The Second Lady and others. Rosemarie is also an accomplished writer, having written the majority of the plays presented by our children's repertory theatre company.
