Mitch Lewis
![]() First appearing in a Civic Theatre West "little ones" production at age six, Mitch is now a New York-based actor with a degree in drama from U.C. Irvine. While at Irvine, Mitch appeared in Seussical, Batboy, Othello, and as Billy Crocker in Anything Goes. Mitch portrayed Action in Moonlight Amphitheatre’s (San Diego) 2007 production of West Side Story, and Reuben in Moonlight’s 2008 production of Joseph… before moving to New York. In 2010 he played Lawrence in Golden Apple Theatre’s (Sarasota, FL) production of The Andrews Brothers. His Civic West main stage work includes appearances in West Side Story, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Sweet Charity, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly!, and Camelot. A SARTA Elly Award recipient for his supporting role as Thenardier in Woodcreek High School's 2003 production of Les Mis, Mitch also appeared at Woodcreek as Father in Children of Eden. He appeared in many Civic West youth and master workshop productions, and played the title role in Pinocchio with Civic Theatre West’s Children's Theatre Company. His favorite master workshop performance was as Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Productions
