Marilyn's directorial credits include Quilters in Trinity county, Plaza Suite, and two melodramas. She has also appeared in The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, seven melodramas, and The Trinity Folliew. Marilyn plays clarinet and piano and has appeared in concert and marching bands, barbershop quartets and choruses. She has a special affinity for Quilters, in that her maternal great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Newell Glitner, came from Ohio to Iowa in a covered wagon. Scenes bring back memories of family stories of line in those days.
