Katy got her start with Civic Theatre West as a "little one" at age five and is now a 2010 graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in city and regional planning. While at Cal Poly she played Nurse Flinn in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Katy is a veteran of six Civic West main stage performances, including Hello Dolly!, West Side Story, Anything Goes, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music and South Pacific. She also appeared in 14 Civic West master workshop productions and countless youth productions. She has received three SARTA Elly Award nominations, including one for her portrayal of Jojo in Woodcreek High School's 2005 production of Seussical, and two for costuming at Woodcreek.
