John Chitambar

Devoted to the arts, John remembers being a playwright, director, and actor as early as the fifth grade thanks to his English language teacher. He is proud to have performed regionally with many companies, including North Bay Opera, Modesto Performing Arts, Garbeau's Dinner Theater, Davis Musical Theatre, T Street Players, Magic Circle Theatre, and many more. Amongst his many acting roles (all of which he has enjoyed), he is thrilled to have played coveted lead roles in The King and I, Evita, Wait Until Dark, and South Pacific.

On his role in Man of La Mancha: "The role of Don Quixote is one I have always longed to play. I was first introduced to this musical as a teenager by my dad, to whom I dedicatee my performance. To me, he not only spoke the impossible dream, but livedit. Dad, this is for you. Most importantly, I thank my sweet wife for her sacrifical love that enabled me to follow this dream."
