Joel has been seen by Magic Circle Theatre patrons as The Butler in 2005’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and as Stanford White in Ragtime.

Joel has been seen in Rocklin Theatre & Arts productions of The Music Man (Jacey Squires) and Kiss Me Kate (Gangster #1).

Some of Joel’s many other stage credits include Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Philip Lombard in Ten Little Indians, Sidney Lipton in God’s Favorite, Mr. Manningham in Angel Street, Ken Harrison in Whose Life is it Anyway, Stephen Kodaly in She Loves Me (where he met his wife of 24 years), Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, Chad Jasker in The Moundbuilders, and Bernie in Sexual Perversity in Chicago.
