James brings an impressive array of professional and community theatre credentials to the Magic Circle Rep. He has appeared at the Berkeley, Arizona, and Utah Shakespear festivals and for the latter two was the resident composer. Among his dramatic appearances are roles in The Foreigner, Normal Heart, Lettice and Lovage, and The Madwoman of Chaillot. But it is in musical theatre where his credentials really shine. James played Action in the European touring company production of West Side Story, the Artful Dodger in Oliver at the Arizona Music Theatre, and Toby in Sweeny Todd at the Pasadena Playhouse. James recently appeared as Ivan Molokov in the Sierra College production of Chess.
