Fred is celebrating his 40th year in community theater. His theatrical travels began in the East Bay with the Lafayette Dramateurs and Diablo Light Opera Company in Walnut Creek. From there he went to the foothills of Amador County where he spent ten years with the Volcano Theatre and was awarded a Best Actor Elly in the hilarious production of Weekend Comedy. He is an avid senior softball player, enjoying his fellowship with the old guys who can still run, hit and throw, and is very proud to be part of Magic Circle. He hopes to continue his thespian endeavors as he and his wife Pauline spend their retirement years living in Auburn. He recently won a Birdsall Award for Smoke and Mirrors.
