Dick Mangrum

When Dick was in the first grade, his teacher put him in the school play, and he has been "playing" ever since. In recent years, he has appeared as Gen. Starbuck in Gunfighter at River Stage, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at Delta King, Hector Nations in Foxfire at Woodland Opera House (for which he received an Elly Award), Erronius in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Davis Musical Theatre Company, Norman Thayer in On Golden Pond at Woodland Opera House (for which he received the Chesley Best Actor Award), Colonel Kincaid in The Oldest Living Graduate, Weller Martin in The Gin Game, Father Tim in Mass Appeal, Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey, and as Antonio in The Merchant of Venice, among the long list of roles on his acting resume.

When he's not at the theatre, Dick enjoys swimming, biking, classical music, and reading. And he never refuses a glass of red wine. Dick lives with two felines in Sacramento.
