Claire experienced live musical theatre for the first time at the age of three and a half, attending a local youth production of Peter Pan. She was hooked, but it would take several years before she was ready to take the stage herself. She first appeared on stage in 2008 when she played "Sukie Sue Sven", the littlest Sven sister, in the Magic Circle Theatre youth workshop production of The Saga of Sweet Hannah Sue, or Is Everything Swedish Sweet. Since then she has been seen in multiple Magic Circle Theatre youth workshops. She has also performed with Rocklin Youth Theatre Company in their production of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast Jr. as well as the City of Rocklin in a youth production of Treasure Island.

Claire made her Magic Circle mainstage debut in the spring of 2009 as an orphan and pickpocket in Oliver!.
