Cathy West-Packard

Cathy's recent history in the performing arts includes singing with the Sierra Community Chorus for seven years. When the director founded Broadway at Sierra, a whirlwind musical revue, she became involved and immediately fell in love with musical theater. She has enjoyed many featured performances there over the last few years.

Her first role at Magic Circle Theatre was Shaindel (Motle's mom) in the 2000 production of Fiddler on the Roof . Next came Maria (the Inn Keeper's wife) in The Man of La Mancha . "I very much appreciate working (that is, playing) with the outstanding people that come and go from Magic Circle. The experiences have enriched my life. I am having so much fun being a part of The Music Man , that I'm coming back for more", she says. Although it's a wild schedule, she is looking forward to expanding her horizons in the upcoming production of Annie at the Roseville Theatre.
