About Us

Magic Circle Theatre was founded in 1987 by Bob and Rosemarie Gerould. In our twenty years of providing quality entertainment to the residents of Placer County, we have gone through a tremendous amount of changes. We have grown to such heights, we now operate the largest Children's Theatre Workshop in the state of California and we operate the second largest Community Theatre in the state of California. We operate on a $1 million dollar budget every year. We operate two theaters on Vernon Street in historic downtown Roseville: the 80 year old Roseville and recently refurbished Tower.

We are in the midst of a major fundraising campaign in an effort to raise money to help refurbish the Roseville and update some slightly antiquated equipment around the theater. If you would like to know how YOU can help, click on the 20/20 Marquee picture to the right.
